Assembly order (assembly to order)

Hi

Why can't I post the assembly order if the item is an assembly to stock?

the orders are stil open under "assembly orders" and I can't post them.

The outstanding qty on these orders are "0" as these have been shipped and invoiced in the sales order.

RE: Assembly order (assembly to order)

    Hello,

Are you saying that you cannot Post and close the Assembly Order that was created from the Sales Order, which has already been Shipped and Invoiced? If the Item = Assemble to Order and when you created the Sales Order it would have auto-created the Assembly Order. You need to assemble the Item and post so how did you have the Inventory to ship the Sales Order.

What error message do you get when trying to Post?

    Thanks,

    Steve

Was the assembly order created through a sales order? If so you can only post it when you ship the goods from the sales order - providing you have all the components.
