Where can I find the Serial number field when using Power BI in Posted Item Tracking?

Hello All,

This is the first-time post here. We are newer to Business Central and have recently set up and have been using BC, and I'd like to pull the data using Power BI. My issue is I can't seem to find the Serial number field in the tables when in Power BI. Does anyone know what table I can find this information in?

Posted Item Tracking Lines is where the serial numbers have been recorded on the Posted Sales Invoice.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

    Hello

Thank you for posting on the Forum. The Serial No. posting would be stored in Table 32 - Item Ledger Entries Table.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Paul,

Welcome to the dynamics community forum. The Serial No. including Lot No., expiration date and other posting information is stored in the "32 - Item Ledger Entry" table.

Hi How did you find it?

I am not seeing the Serial No., Lot No. columns available in itemLeadgerEntried while using API v2.0 in PowerBI

That's where they reside....your query must not have them.

Hi, The standard API v2.0 may not contain all the fields you need. But since the API page cannot be extended, if you really need it, you need to customize your own API page. Or using Web Service is also possible, but the performance is not as good as using API.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
