Hi,

I am newbie working on Dynamics CRM 2016, Can any of the experts provide me a solution design template, What I mean is how do design an entity and its attributes, customizing the out of the box entities, forms, view etc.. I believe we need to create a document that give clear picture how many entities are required for a solution, forms, business process, views, relationships etc, If anybody can share a sample document that would be great help

Thanks

    Hi Gopal555,

I would suggest that you check out the Dynamics CRM Help section in any Dynamics CRM environment. Furthermore you could check the Dynamics Learning Portal or Customerportal.

Furthermore I do not think one document can cover the wide range of questions you have asked.

    Hi,

Solutions are a bit illusive. Depending on what you need to do - you can include only specific form in to solution so that you can modify it and export just the form information if required.

Solutions do give you an option to add publisher prefix as well.

If you're creating a specified solution that will need to be exported, that is where you include all entities, web resources, processes, etc. that would be modified.

Solutions is a relatively recent addition to MSCRM added in 2013 version. This was done to simplify updating and exporting customisation data in a solution instead of using full system exports.

Don't forget that solution customisations can get overridden by manual customisation or subsequently imported solutions.

I haven't seen specific documents anywhere on what has or doesn't have to be in a solution.

Hope this gives you a little bit of an insight how it works.
