Issue when adding a field to a existing RDLC Report

Hi team,

We are trying to add a field to an existing RDLC report in Business Central, by:

1. Creating a RDL file with the AL extension to add the new field (red highlighted below):

2. Downloading the RDL Report Layout file to edit the Layout in Report Builder app. (orange highlighted below):

But we are not able to see the added field when opening the RDL Report Layout file downloaded from BC. Are we missing any step?

Create a copy of the report that you want to extend and add the necessary fields based on your requirements... means copy the entire code of the original report and add it to your project... build your project and replace your layouts with the original report layout by exporting them.
Add your custom fields in your report which will be automatically be added to your report dataset...

Finally you just need to select your new report in the report selection to print it instead of the original report...
