CRM Email Sync Issues

We have CRM 2013 CU2 installed with Exchange 2013.

We are using Server-Side Synchronisation for our mail and we have the following issue:

A user creates an email and clicks to track it in CRM. The message sits there for a few minutes and gets saved to drafts. User decided they don't want the email and then delete it.

In CRM we then start getting the following errors:

An error occurred while creating the incoming email "<EMAIL SUBJECT>" in Microsoft Dynamics CRM for the mailbox <USER>.

Is there anyway to stop the Server-side sync process from monitoring the drafts folder without reverting to Exchange permissions?

Yes this issue was resolved, in a way.

The user was creating new email and had automatic tracking set. The issue stemmed from the fact that he would open the new email, it would begin tracking and then after a period of time it would save the email to Drafts. He was then deleting the email, but CRM had already begin tracking it. We have errors in CRM Still saying certain files cannot be tracked, but I've turned off automatic tracking and educated them to ensure they don't delete tracked email in the Drafts folders.

Was this issue ever resolved? We have a similar issue (CRM errors stemming from the sync trying to copy emails which are in draft mode).

I've got the tracing enabled, but I can't see anything that would suggest that there is a problem.

My gut is telling me that this is more of a server side issue. CRM is tracking email which sit in drafts and don't get sent.

Now this may be a case of just informing the user, if they don't plan on sending the email, the need to stop tracking it. But now I have a CRM system which is throwing alerts to our users because they have many items which they didn't send.

Have you tried to activate the Outlook track log?

    If not follow this.
