We are currently struggling to pull a list of what's available in inventory when a customer has a specific call.

We want to be able to pull the most accurate and quick list.

For Inventory , you can always see in Item Ledger entries , And do analysis

There is section - All Reports . Standard Reports by MS

Inventory Repots

You can verify this std report , you will get report inventory

Rest you can also go for PowerBi Reports , need license and configuration

Hello,

Use Item Availability by Location or Items by Location to instantly see current and projected stock.
For quick calls, open the item or sales line and select Availability, it shows what’s available now and incoming.

Hi,

Use the Inventory Availability by Location. Alternatively, use the "Item Availability by Event" page for real-time insights. Filters can be applied for specific locations.

Hello,

To quickly and accurately view available inventory in Business Central when a customer calls, the best approach is to use the “Item Availability by Location” or “Item Availability by Variant” pages.

These provide real-time visibility into stock levels across locations, bins, and variants. You can access them directly from the Items list or from within a Sales Order by selecting the item and choosing Item Availability by... from the action bar.

For a more streamlined process, consider creating a custom list page or report that filters items based on availability and location, tailored to your sales team's needs.
