Personal Word Templates Not Listed in Views, but is Available for Document Generation

I have created a word template and uploaded it in a development solution. It is available to use when I want to create a Document through entities records. But, It is not available in the Document Templates List Views. If I want to delete or deactivate or reactivate it, I have to find it in the Document Templates Views then deal with it from there, BUT, I cannot find it in any of these views as shown below. Is this a bug, or what am I missing? How should I make it appear in the views just so I can delete or deactivate it?

Hi!

The build in templates are stored as Document Template records but when you create one yourself, they're created as Personal Document Templates. If you do an advanced find on that entity, you'll see all your personal templates.

Hie Aiden Kaskela, I have queried the documents, document templates and the entity to no avail, its weird because I actually am able to do everything with the same document template in the sandbox solution though. What else can I try to do?

thanks man, problem solved! i found out that searching for the template depends on the method that you use to upload the document, if done throught the Templates Documents List Views then you can always find it there on the list readily, but if you use the normal Word Document Template upload method on the entity records, then you will not find the template on the Document Templates Views so you will need to search it using the Advanced Find in the Personal Document Templates

hi Aiden I have a similar problem, I cannot see templates in the top ribbon selection drop down when I want to generate a template for a particular record, but I can see document templates in advanced find and the document templates view, any ideas?
