Production Order Expected Cost Posting - Cost Basis

Hi All

How does the system calculate Expected Cost of the finished product output in the 3 scenarios below under FIFO costing:

1. New FG item never been produced before

2. FG item not in stock but has previous output entries (no remaining qty)

3. FG item with current stock from  multiple production runs

    I agree with Kim here. The unit cost I would expect to come from the item card. Either from last direct cost or from average cost. The first scenario from the unit cost.

    I believe the BC uses the unit cost from the item card in all 3 scenarios.
