Clear Recent Product List

I am having a problem selecting a product during creation of a new quote product. When a product name is typed a list of recent products is displayed. Then, when one of these recent products is chosen from the list an error occurs. This error is most likely caused by the deletion and re-import of a large number of products.

Is there a way to clear this recent products list?

    There isn't any configuration for that. Try clearing the cache and see if it helps. The other way is to access products that are existing in the system and let the system learn/refresh this list.
