How can we default a email template in Dynamics 365?

We want users to use a email template which includes merge fields from the case form, but we are finding user shave to manualy insert the template - can we default this in any way?

Note: using signatures isn't an option as we need to include merge fields

You can query the particular email template which you want to use it for the email using WebApi and call the js in email form unload. You can refer below

Note: below code is for older version. Just take logic and implement using WebApi

We have the exact same requirement, e.g. load a default template when someone creates a new email from a case.

I'm not a programmer, so what would be the steps to achieve this?
