I am trying to create a custom view in CRM 2011 where I can have a column with notes.

However I am unable to find notes as an option and when i go to notes to look at the formatting it is locked

Am I missing some thing?

Hi Kinwood, were you able to find out how to do that? Thanks

It's seem to me that CRM doesn't allow creation of custom view with 1:N column attribute included in xmllayout grid.

    Kinwood,

You are not missing anything. You cannot create a custom view using the Advanced Find feature to add Notes or any other many to one attribute. For example, in the account view you could not create a custom view that would display all the contacts associated with a Account.

The way to achieve this is to create a report and then show the report within an iframe or a dashboard.
