Hi Guys,

I have a problem and i got to know from my developer that we can only have one save button in CRM entity form. Below is my application concept where i need a wizard or multi-steps forms with ability to "go to previous step" and "Save+validate and go to next Step" and user can also go back and forth to any left tab/step navigation.

i would really appreciate help and solution to achieve this. I need pure Microsoft dynamics CRM solution as i have some security limitations to use third party solution.

Thank you

    Hello,

I don't think you can do it using standard form but using custom HTML/JS form you definitely can do it.

    Hi

This is a perfect fit for a Canvas Power App.

You can now embed a Canvas Power App on a CRM Unified Interface form , the Canvas App is context aware of the current record.

You can start your process by creating a record in a Custom Entity and then have however many screens you want in the power app, create new records and you can do pretty much anything you want

And one benefit is the power app can be used from any device, especially phone/tablet, not just from CRM

Update: One other option came to my mind is the Task Flow allows you to create sires of page and fields in each page with section labels and stuff. Task Flow is purely for Unified Interface if you want that to work on web and mobile.  If its older version of CRM, the task flow is called Mobile Task Flow and it only works for Mobile.

    Hello,

Are you talking about entity foerms in microsoft portal? If it is the case, you can use web forms to have multi-step wizard with next and back buttons.

Check this link on how to achieve it with the properties that you can set: docs.microsoft.com/.../web-form-properties
