License not freed when feeding Excel with Navision data

Hi,

We have a power user that uses MS Excel to retrieve data from Navision

He created about 7 excel sheets (7 different files).

Whenever he refreshes within Excel the data from Navision and then quits excel, the Navision license is not freed.

This means that if he refreshes (one by one) the 7 different files we end up having 7 licenses in use that are not freed up!

Only solution is to kill the sessions to free the licenses.

How can this be solved?

    Hi Marco,

    Thanks for your reply.  

    It is Navision in the cloud that we have and we already had a look at the timeout parameter but that did not seem to help.
