Dependency not showing in view

Hi folks,

I want to delete a column but am stuck in cleaning up the dependencies. Dynamics is stating that there are 3 dependencies on a views, but the column in question is not on the views specified. It's also not in the query.

Below is an example. I'm having these issues on all the 3 remaining dependencies.

Any tips would be appreciated!

    Hi,

Create new solution and add only 3 views in the solution.

Now export the solution, unzip and open customization.xml

Try to search contact type field by schema name in XML to find the dependency

Check all the aspects of the view like columns, sorting, custom co0ntrol, etc

Thanks! The column is indeed in the XML. Further research showed that in PROD, the column is not hidden. So I'll probably export a solution with only these views and import it to dev.

After importing from PROD to DEV, the columns where visible again in the views and could be removed. However, the dependencies still remained. In the end we edited the xml and re-imported the solution. This did the trick.
