Connect to On-Premises Dynamics 365 (Https binding) using console application

Hi,

I tried to connect to on-premises D365 with http binding (Connection String URL is http) using active directory authentication which is working fine.

Problem is when I try to connect the same on-premises D365 with https binding (Connection String URL is https) using active directory which was not working.

Error: Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved.

So, I tried logging in using XRM toolbox and it gave me same result, it's working when I use http and failing when I use https.

Kindly suggest me how I can authenticate Dynamics 365 with both http and https url's.
