Return order : No automatic creation of replacement order

Hello,

So I need to create a return order

In the arrival journal after starting arrival, i enter as disposition code "Credit and replace",

So normally after posting the journal, a replacement order should be created but nothing happened :

Is there any parameters to activate that I may not consider ?

    Hi Maher,

    Replacement order will be created automatically after posting packing slip of the return SO.

    Or you can use Up-Front Replacement, please have a look at this blog: vamsipraneethdax.blog/.../

    Thank you for you response it helped a lot, because of some docs I thought that the replacement is created after posting the arrival journal.

    Many companies need upfront creation and hence one can create it manually from RO

    otherwise it would get created on return packing slip posting as it means goods are back and now replacements can be done
