Hi kjjson,
Is this BC, BC on Prem or NAV you're experiencing it in? If it's not the cloud version you could recompile the table, sync table schemas, restart services and see if it re-occurs.
Another easy to test idea I have is to :
-go in Report Layout selection, go on the report line,
- take not of the custom layout set there,
-then change it to RDLC from the Selected Layout column.
- then run your report with the standard RDLC and then go back in here and choose your Custom layout again, see if it works after that?
