Hello Community

I need to copy chart of account from company A to B

The issue is Company B already as accounts

I want the synchronization to (Insert) the new records to company B and if there is Account No. with different name to rename it like company A (Modify Name Field)

is that doable? Please I want a full documentation of how is this possible to achieve as soon as possible.

I am copying the data from Company to another in BC and online environment not (NAV)

Hello,

To synchronize the Chart of Accounts from Company A to Company B in Business Central,

1. Enable Master Data Management and set Company A as the source.

2. Add the G/L Account table to the synchronization tables and specify the fields to sync.

3. Start the initial synchronization to copy records.

4. For existing records in Company B with different names, use the Modify method to update the Name field.

5. Set up a job queue for ongoing synchronization and regularly review synchronization logs to ensure accuracy.
