Upgrading Customized C/AL Application to Microsoft Base Application

Hi,

I've been trying for a few days to follow the steps of the Microsoft Guide without success.

I keep blocking at the Task 13.5 with this error:

7002.sdsadsadsa.png

This is when I try to sync my second version of the table migration extension that only has the migration.json file (and the app.json) with the id's of the base & system application and the id of my customization extension.

I'm doing something wrong but I really can't figure out what. My Get-NavAPPInfo shows this:
5810.sdsadsadsa2.png

All apps that were said to be published during the guide. I followed the order in which they should be done.

If you need more info please ask and thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi Duilio,

what you suggest is not always possible. Also I would like to understand if the procedure documented by Microsoft works or not

    Hello,

have you solved somehow? We are having the same problem trying to upgrade from BC14 (C / AL) version to 18.

This is a quite complex path.

I would better go for completely moving your Private IP from C/AL to AL first in version 14.x (hybrid version) and then perform the typical upgrade path of an unmodified base app. That would be more robust and a win win solution.
