Production Floor Execution – “Number sequence 0 does not exist” when reporting progress.

Hello everyone,

I am currently configuring Production Floor Execution in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and encountering an issue when attempting to report job progress or report as finished from the Production Floor Execution interface.

When I select a job and try to pause or report progress, the following error appears:

Number sequence 0 does not exist.

Operation canceled: Report as finished.

Hi,

Can you confirm if all the setup is correct? Like under production control -> Setup -> Parameters -> All number sequences are filled in?

Yes, I have verified the setup.All the required number sequences have been configured and are not blank.

However, I am still unable to perform Report progress / Report as finished from the Production Floor Execution screen, and the system continues to show the same error.Could you please let me know if there are any additional configurations or specific number sequences that I might be missing?

After scheduling, the job should be created and posted automatically. However, in my case, it is not being created, so I am posting the job manually. I have already configured all the required setups related to job creation and posting, but the issue still persists.

Hi @kavana,

If the item is warehouse-enabled and you are using the warehouse process, could you check whether the license plate (LP) for the finished item is being used when reporting it as finished? Currently, the LP number is provided manually, but during production floor execution, it can be set to generate the LP automatically.

Please check for this LP number sequence is setup correctly. Thank you.

Do you have any missing at either Time and attendance parameters > Number sequences or Manufacturing execution parameters > Number sequences.

Check if the number sequences were set in the Manufacturing execution parameters.
