Does anyone have any insights on allowing sales staff to create sales credit memos when one of their customers requests a refund or a merchandise credit?

Hello,

I would recommend the Sales Staff might create the Sales Return Order or Sales Credit Memo but Accounting process and Post the document. You could use Approval Workflow to authorize the Return/Credit from Accounting or Manager as an alternative.
