    Hilal,

After running the utility you should get a report printing the status of the change, if nothing was changed the report will actully show what was the reason behind not being able to change, normally it would be an open transaction exist for the selected item.

On the other hand, changing the decimal places for price requires a change for currency decimal places, this should be considered as well.

    Re: QTY and Decimal Decreasing

    Dear Sir,

I run the  Utilities >Inventory > change deimal   from 3 to 2 for QTY and Currency , Nothing changed  But now Some of the Items are without Unit of Measurement in item Maintenance, Now whene ever I create a P.O , adjustments , I have to go to Item maintenance windows and reasign the specific Unit , but I can not .

The message come "Decimal Place for the Unit of Measurement Scedule  and items  must be matched "

    How to solve this issu?

    Hilal,

The first message you get before processing the change of the decimal places is a confirmation that you will lose the item pricelist and UOM Schedule.

Note that items that lost these fields were updated, you will need to create new UOFM with 2 decimal places and assign this to your items.
