10First question:
My client has setup multiple sites and warehouses in which they produce and store products. The production facility is located physically in the same warehouse as some of the storage facilities. Example:
Site 1 - Whse 123 is a production facility
Site 1 - Whse ABC is a storage facility (located in the same physical building as the production facility - Whse 123)
Site 1 - Whse XYZ is a storage facility (located in the same physical building as the production facility Whse 123)
When a production order is generated for Site 1 - Whse 123 the financial dimensions are entered on the production order. The items are created and then stored in Whse ABC, XYZ or at another Site/Whse combination. If this product was created with the financial dimensions for Whse 123 and then moved to another location, and a sales order is created and a pick is made from Whse ABC, will the original Financial dimensions carry forward to the sales order?
Second question:
Purchase product can be bought and store in multiple locations. If used in production, the cost needs to be reflected to the Financial dimension for Whse 123. If the product was received into Whse ABC, with the Financial dimensions from the Purchase order for Whse ABC, when consumed on the produciton order how will the consumption dimensions be reflected?
