What setting is responsible for causing a newly opened window to open behind the GP main window? The new window is available in the task bar and has to be selected to appear in front of the main window.
Thanks,

Frank,
Does the 'main window' have focus after the other window is opened? Here's a shot in the dark, what is the setting in the sy01402 table for default types 83 & 96? 83 stands for POSITIONCONTROL and 96 stands for SLAHWINDOW, I don't know what that means exactly (or even remotely), but sometimes entries in the SY01402 table cause weirdness.
I just looked at my system, I don't have an 83, but my 96 is this: TRUE~734~1600~-44~-4~176~

Frank,
Was there a resolution for this?
No,no extended monitor.
@ Dan, the issue on citrix is because the app is the only one published, when you would need to publish the whole desktop, I am aware that on our environment our techs did got away with not publishing the desktop and still solve this. www.mygpcloud.com
@Frank do you use an extended monitor? if so, are some windows from GP showing up on the main screen and others moved to the extended monitor? or viceversa I have seen instances where this can be solved by tweaking the dex.ini window position values to 0,0
Hi Francisco, no, not on Citrix. In fact, one of the installs I'm referring to is my laptop with SQL 2008 R2 and GP 2010 installed on it.
Francisco, I have seen this as well. Do you know what causes this? Or is there a setting or something to change in citrix to alleviate this? We are living with it at the moment as we are in implementation phase and dealing with it.

Frank, do you have your GP installed and being accessed thru citrix?
No Sunbeam, have not resolved it yet. I noticed the behavior on a brand new install of GP 2010 this week. I've also noticed the behavior on other installs that seems to be of a random nature. I don't know if it's a Windows setting or something in GP. I see the behavior on Win7 and XP.
Hi Frank,
Were you able to resolve this issue, I’m keen on this very unique scenario. Thanks
