InventOnHandAIEntity Not Refreshing via CDS Virtual Entity Batch Jobs in Prod

Hi everyone,

We’re running into an issue in our Dynamics 365 CE + F&O production environment related to the InventOnHandAIEntity virtual entity. Here’s the situation:

The error we see on the CE side when adding products to a quote is:

"Quote Products failed: No location warehouse!"

To troubleshoot, we attempted to manually triggered the following batch jobs:

CDSVirtualEntityRefreshBatch
CDSVirtualEntityAutoCreateBatch

The batch jobs run successfully for our legal entity (008) without any information in the logs, but the virtual entity itself does not get refreshed—the CE side continues to show the pre-existing data.

Has anyone encountered this behavior before? Is there a reliable approach or a trick to force the virtual entity to refresh correctly in production when batch jobs appear to run without error?

Hi,

I noticed an older, unanswered question. Do you still need help? If so, try to go to the management page where you can enable data entities. You can try to refresh the specific entity, or disable it and re-enable to see if this solved the issue.
