Set default Editable Grid Group By

I would like to set the Group By on an editable grid (in CRM 365 running on desktop) as a default value.

Current default:

How I'd like it to look after form on load (default to a column, e.g. Product):

I've looked at the editable grid object in DOM and found some interesting values, however I don't know how to set them.

Joining to follow this. Scoured MSFT Documentation and came up with nothing.

I did click the 'no, this is not helpful' button on the msft docs page and ask how it can be set programatically.

Digging through the controlContext in JS was also unsuccessful in identifying a way to retrieve or set a value.

I guess we will have to live with this for now.

As of now, I believe this is session based.
