SOP Line Comments not in sequence

Anyone come across this issue? SOP Blank Invoice Form...SOP Line Comments 1,2,3 and 4. Out of the box GP2010 install.

I add a SOP Invoice, and enter 4 lines of text in the line comment field.

No matter what I do, line 2 prints before line 1.

So my text is entered as:

This is line 1

This is line 2

This is line 3

This is line 4

and on the Invoice when I print it, i get:

This is line 2

This is line 1

This is line 3

This is line 4

I have looked in report writer at the report section setup...and played with this [just to see was it a bug in the GP 2010 out of the box report - I set it up same as an out of the box GP2013 report]. No success. Anyone and ideas?

Ian,

I have played with many scenario for SOP invoice line comment. Each time it was print only sequence order(1,2,3&4). I don't know how it was happens for you and the resolution.

Did you check the report whether it is standard or modified?

Ian,

Have you confirmed in SQL what the data is in SOP10202? Does COMMENT_1 have Line 1 or Line 2?

Thanks both.

Yes - checked the tables and all fine. Exactly as it should be.

I played around with the Section Options in report writer and got it to work.

But the original version of the sop blank still prints wrong.

Its GP 10 SP 3....and out of the box the SOP Blank line comments seem to be screwed. I was on a client site when I saw this so haven't confirmed this in a test environment. When I get home I will research and post any findings.

Thanks for the update Ian! Just another reason for me to keep creating all my invoices in Crystal Reports. :-)

Hi Ian, I am having the exact same problems with my POP Blank page report. I had already heavily modified my report before I discovered the issue with the comment lines, so I thought I had done something to "break" it.

What changes did you end up making to your section options to get it to work?
