Dear All,

We have Delivery Control "CTP" on all our sales line. The issue we have is that even minor update to a confirmed sales order line (eg Changing a Financial Dimension value) will cause the Confirmed Delivery Date to be recalculated. Staff were trained to "Cancel" out of the CTP dialog form but saving the Sales Oder keep triggering recalculation. Having the Delivery Control at "none" signals that there was a documented exception to the regular SO confirmation process, so it is not desirable for minor SO header or line update.

Is there a way to make it so that the CTP calculation is only triggered when clicking the Simulate Delivery Date?

Hi Danny,

I believe that's not possible in standard Dynamics 365 SCM.

My suggestion is to consider a customization or to raise an idea on ideas portal of Microsoft.
