Sorting lookup in editable grid

Hi Team,

I have a lookup field with all the month (January, Feb...) and we are showing these on a editable grid.

Currently CRM just sort them alphabetically( April, August..) and it appear very random. I tried adding monthID column in the entity and then configured the lookup view sorting with that ID but that sorting doesnt appear in editable grid.

Any idea how can we sort a lookup column in editable Grid?

    Hi,

    You can't. It is a special view for it.

    For situations like this, I like using a number prefix.  Like so:

    01 - January

    02 - February

    03 - March

    etc.

    This works rather well for months, since that's the month number anyway.
