    1) Kingsway is SSIS.  My big issue here is the user interface.  I want something I can do quickly, when doing a migration like you are talking about.

    2) SCRIBE Online - This is my tool of choice when it comes to migration and integrations.  If you two CRM systems are identical then you can complete all your data mappings in about a week (the hardest part is setting the correct order for them to run in).

    3) Dynamics Data Migration Tool - I do not recommend this tool at all.  I have personally tried it and have yet to have a successful migration with it on large data sets.

    4) Data Loader Service - I have not used this yet, but from what Microsoft says, it was designed for what you are trying to do.

Personally, as I stated above, I would use SCRIBE.  You get a free 14 day trial when you sign up.  You could probably complete your migration before the trial runs out.  But, if your two systems aren't the same and you need to do data transformation and data clean up prior it will take longer.  But, SCRIBE does offer special pricing for this.  You could also contact a SCRIBE partner, like my company and use our data migration account to complete it.  I will say I am a little bias towards SCRIBE Online as I work in it almost every day.

    Hi Vignesh,

As mentioned our solution utilizes SSIS capabilities and provides a codeless data integration/migration solution that is incredibly cost effective. For CRM migrations we have a starter package that will take care of most of the development for you, you'll just need to work through the custom entities. You can read more about the package on our blog post: www.kingswaysoft.com/.../Announcing-Migration-Starter-Pack-for-CRM-Online-and-CRM-On-Premise

You can then download our software/starter pack for free to get started.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Hi,

We made an observation on Kingswaysof relating to ADFS.

It has trouble authenticating if you are using SSO from your on premise to cloud.

SSIS does not have that issue, however you will need to write quite a bit of code to get it done.

That being said, it is very fast.

I would also validate that Scribe can talk through your gateway first.

You must take into account the learning curve to use a new tool (Scribe). It may be possible for someone who knows the tool to do it in time as James says.

Kingsway on the other hand works in the same paradigm as normal SSIS.

Naturally it comes down to time and money.

    regards,

    Don

    Hi Vignesh,

There are a few considerations here, but a couple would be the size of your migration project and your budget.

SCRIBE is substantially more expensive then KWS, but is a great tool.

If you have experience with SSIS as a tool/technology, I would go with the route of SSIS with Kingswaysoft, so that you don't really have to learn new technology.

Finally, Data Loader Services, as James stated, is probably the way to go, but I am not sure that it is available for all regions at this time. It might still be in preview in the US last I checked.

    Hope this helps.

Speaking about SSIS and Kingwaysoft, we need to remember that they can be quite hard for citizen developers, `cause you need some technical background for working with them.

There are two tools that I prefer for data integration and for migration - Scribe and Skyvia. Both are quite cool and with wide functionality, however, the price for Skyvia is much cheaper
