Opportunity Sales Process Stage

Hi,

On one particular opportunity record i am unable to move the stage to previous stage. Remaining all the records are working fine but i am unable to move for one record. I tried to update the stage through excel import but its throwing an error that "Duplicate entry found for that particular stage name".

Any pointers why i am unable to move to previous stage?

    Hi,

    Check if you have any custom script or workflow on the business process flow entity which may prevent it to move previous. It is possible that you have some custom logic which prevents the previous based on some certain conditions. I would check and compare the working and not working record. Also the owner of the record as permissions.

    Is the problem is only moving previous or can you move next? Can you share a screenshot?

    Thanks Ravi. Its only moving to previous and happening only for this particular record, works fine for the remaining records. There is no plug-in/code stopping this. If thats the case all the records should have been impacted.

    Is it possible that there is a branching condition that has specific rules associated with it that only apply to this one record?

    There seem to be something wrong with the BPF for that record. Can you do an advance find and verify the BPF records for this record.
