Modified Fixed Asset Reports - Where are they stored?

For GP 9, where do Fixed Asset reports get stored that are modified with Report Writer? They don't seem to be stored in the reports.dic.

Thanks if advance.

    Hi Greg,

For this you would want to look at the "reports dictionary" file for the specific product. You can even check your Dynamics.set file for this or going into the Edit Launch File window from within Great Plains. You would note that you would have three lines per product for the dictionaries:

    1. The main product dictionary. i.e. Dynamics.dic, FAM.dic
    2. The product's forms dictionary. i.e. Forms.dic, F309.dic
    3. The product's reports dictionary. i.e. Reports.dic, R309.dic

You would note that the reports dictionary for modified Fixed Assets report would be your R309.dic file. This means that when launching Report Writer from Great Plains and then selecting the Product to be Fixed Assets, the modified reports you create would stored in the R309.dic file. Similarly, any other product you select and modify reports for would get the reports stored in that product's "reports dictionary" file.

    Hope that helps.
