how to use Explode BOM on a purchase order

HI All, I'm wondering if anyone uses explode BOM on a purchase order. I'm assuming to enter an item which has a bom attached to it and NAV will explode the components. However it doesn't work and I don't find M instructions. Appreciate any insight.

Hi, as far as I know, Bom here refers to Assembly BOM, not Production BOM. Please confirm whether you have set the Assembly BOM.
