Disable Yammer

In setting up CRM I was "tinkering" and enabled Yammer. Is it possible to disable this integration and get back the old "posts"?

I'm worried that it's a not possible at the flick of a switch. If that is the case, could someone please advise a work around to get yammer out of my CRM?

Many thanks, Joel.

Power Objects is a great site but unfortunately that post doesn't address the questions of how to uninstall Yammer from CRM.

Maybe not the answer you hope for ...... I don't believe it is possible to remove Yammer once enabled. Unfortunately this is by design.

This really sucks.  I added this for a client, and they don't want it anymore.  Is there really no other answer?

Sorry Glenn I think it warns before the install that yammer can't be disabled. Negative answer sorry.

    Hi

I found this article stating that it is indeed to remove Yammer integration. I haven't tried it yet.

    https://www.2bsolutions.com/turns-can-remove-yammer-crm-online/

in short: take a backup of your production instance where Yammer is. (optional: Demote it to Sandbox). Reset that instance. Restore from backup. No more Yammer.

Any brave souls out there want to try this and report back?
