Dear all,

We are struggling with an issue with Dynamics CRM where in we are unable to access deployments within same domain within same browser sessions. Below is the required setup and repro steps:

6518.SSO-Repro-Architecture.jpg

Deployment Summary:

  1. Farm 1:  1 CRM server (not necessarily split roles) 1 DB server.
  2. Farm 2:  1 CRM server (not necessarily split roles) 1 DB server.
  3. All 3 deployments are IFD enabled and wild card certificate is used.
  4. All 3 deployments route through a common ADFS URL.
  5. ADFS version is 2.0

Repro Steps:

  1. Login to crm1.contoso.local
  2. New tab -> login to crm2.contoso.local

Error Message:
On enabling Dev errors, we get an error message Signature is Invalid. Without Dev errors, we get a generic error message “An error has occurred”.
Issue is replicable on pretty much any CRM On premise version. We have tried this on 2013, 2015 as well as 2016. Keeping both deployments on either same version or different doesn’t matter.

If someone can let us know what configuration is missing, would be a great help since if this rare scenario works if we are having a common database server between both deployments which is not feasible for us.
We have tried getting support from Microsoft through a ticket however we were told by MS Support that this scenario is not tested. at their end.

Regards,
Kiran Deshmukh
