Customize SharePoint Document Entity in Dynamics CRM

Posted on by 7

Can you create custom views in the Sharepoint entity? I tried to create a new view and received the error below when I added as a sub grid on my form.

when you modified the fetch XML ,

Did you leave your settings with Documents (Regarding) My new view? Because I am getting the same error as before. did you have to use the same columns as the other Sharepoint views?

Did you have issues creating multiple views but having each view show different documents?

My document view 1 - shows my documents from tab 1

My document view 2 - shows my documents from tab 2

my document view 3 - shows only my documents from tab 3?

    Hi NewCoder,

Yes,I did the same with you and add the subgrid to my account entity form. Then I got the same error with yours.

I pressed F12 and got the 400 error. I think this is caused by the fetchxml.

So I did something like the docs(docs.microsoft.com/.../troubleshoot-set-up-sharepoint-online says:

    1. Create a solution and add SharePoint Document entity.

2.Export it and copy the content of  <fetchxml> belonged to All SharePoint Document view and use it to replace my view's content of  <fetchxml>.

    3. Zip the folder and delete the solution created before.

4.Import the solution and it can work now.

I am unable to create new views and I am a system admin. Did you get any errors when you created a new view and add to the form as sub grid

Documents (related) then your new view?

    Hi NewCoder,

    1. Please make sure you have the permission.

    2. When you select system view, did you get this error?

    3. You can press F12 to check whether has any detail about this error?

Here is a documentation about troubleshooting SharePoint integration:
