Hi,
Ive a question regarding the licencing terms from Microsoft. If I own a Dynamics 365 8.2 Server Licence and User CALs, am I allowed to host the solution and rent it to another company?
So that they have to pay me monthly for each User with access to the solution?
Is that legal?

Hi,
For providing access to your partners/customers, we use Portals connected with Dynamics 365 farm.
For your questions, I would suggest you to reach Microsoft support and discuss your options.
They might give you some opinion for utilizing or converting un-used licenses.

it’s completely clear for me that sharing is not allowed (one named user for every person)
But what is, when my company does not use the licences anymore and I dont want to sell them. Am I allowed to give an external company access to my Dynamics-Farm - and they use my Licences?
So from my point of view it should be allowed to host the servers, create users for every external person (fully licenced by me). Am i right? Because thats no sharing of users.
So I think I have to change the question: Is it allowed to give external companies access to my dynamics farm when i have a user for each person and a licence for each person? I cant read that out.

Hi,
It is clearly mentioned in the Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide that Microsoft Dynamics 365 Licenses cannot be shared.
Please see "How to License Dynamics 365" section (page 5) in the above guide.
