In general you cannot reverse entry if
1) Bank account ledger entries that are closed or linked to a check ledger entry.
2) VAT ledger entries that are closed.
3) Journal ledger entries from an unbalanced transaction.
4) Fixed assets ledger entries where the fixed assets are sold.
5) Fixed assets ledger entries, if the reversal results in a negative book value.
6) Entries that have been date compressed
