I want to follow up on this and be 100% clear on what appears to have happened here.
Firstly, we are NOT missing any General Ledger entries and the Trial Balance still balances.
The issue appears to be contained within ‘ledger settlements’. On a regular basis, we allocate G/L items which are effectively ‘closed / cleared’. However, we appear to be missing numerous debits and numerous credits (highlighted in yellow in the attachment).
