Integration Manager: ActiveX component can't create object

Update:  The error below was resolved by running a repair on Integration Manager.

Hello:

Upon trying to run an integration using Integration Manager for GP 2015, I receive the error "ActiveX component can't create object."

I have followed the instructions in the following KB article but no joy:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/915463/you-receive-an-error-message-when-you-open-integration-manager-or-when-you-run-an-integration-in-integration-manager

Has anyone resolved this, using steps other than what's called for in this KB article?
