Dynamics 365 - Add/Purchase new instance

Hi -

New to Dynamics 365/CRM Online. We have a CRM Online Professional volume licence., with 26 purchased in total.

I have a production instance and want to add a sandbox instance. I followed this article (https://technet.microsoft.com/library/dn467371.aspx) to purchase a new instance, but under Billing > Purchase Services, there is no option for a 'Microsoft Dynamics 365 (online) Additional Non-production Instance' under the Add-on subscriptions section.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi Rich Pearson - Since you have purchased CRM Online via Volume Licensing, you should be reaching out to your Microsoft Licensing partner to place an order with Microsoft for additional instance. You can also try placing order via VLSC if you have access.

technet.microsoft.com/.../dn467371.aspx an additional instance - Has a note a follows

"Volume license customers should see - www.microsoft.com/.../online-services.aspx"

    Hi Rich,

    Go to Portal.office.com>>Admin>>Support>>Service Request>>New>>Trial & Billing>>request for a sandbox instance

    Hi Rich,

    +1 for Prabha's suggestion.

The article you shared specifically say not use the instructions in the article if purchased using volume licensing.

"The following steps apply to customers who do not purchase using volume licensing. Volume license customers should see: Volume Licensing: Online Services."

Has anyone got this to work if you are using Partner Benefits?

Found this in the MSFT doc "Dynamics 365 IUR and Demo Benefits" as advised by our Partner Account Manager...

"Partners who qualify for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Internal Use Rights benefit are entitled to purchase additional seats at a discounted price of $50 per seat. A maximum of one hundred $50 discounted seats can be purchased. This is a 100 seat worldwide maximum per partner organization. Once you have made a $50 seat purchase, provided you have not exceeded your 100 seat maximum entitlement you can purchase more $50 seats directly through the Office365 admin portal. The purchase of $50 Dynamics 365 seats will also enable you to purchase the Dynamics 365 add-ons, production and non-production instances and additional storage directly through the O365 admin portal. There is no need to submit a further request to Operations."

Might be best to contact yours.

I have tried for a month to purchase an additional instance as we already have 1 production and 1 sandboxed. I want to make the sandboxed live so I can develop our next instance but having been passed to literally every department in Microsoft, nobody can give me a straight answer , MVLC cant help, Dynamics cant help MPN can't help and I have just tried a reseller who........can't help. If anyone knows how I can purchase a seat or an instance I would really, really appreciate it.

     https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/admin/add-instance-subscription

This article doesn't help even when following the details for MVLC as it is all incorrect- it just tells you to purchase one, but I can't!!!!

    Thanks in advance

    Alex
