Backup Restore

I tried to restore the backup from the production environment to the sandbox with a backdated option, but the below-mentioned error occurred. What is the reason for this error?

    Has the retention period expired? If yes, you need raised Microsoft Support and share all the required details. The sooner you reach out, the better the chances of restoring it successfully.

    Hello,
    This error usually means Business Central can’t validate the selected point-in-time restore window right now—most often a temporary Microsoft-side/backend issue, but it can also happen if the chosen restore date is outside the supported restore range (max 28 days) or falls into a version state that isn’t eligible for restore. In short: the problem is usually with restore-period validation, not with your sandbox setup itself.
