Removing Serial No. from inventory items

Hello!

We have some items , by mistake during the creation of those items track was selected to Serial No.

Now the problem is  Wheneever we  make any receiving from the P.O  for those items , there  a message comes  and serial no entry window opens. Is there any way to remove the serial no from such item , so that my user can easily make the receiving .

We want to assign the "Track to None " for all those items. Kindly answer if some solve such issue before.

All you need to do is take the quantity down to zero. With zero quantity in inventory, you can change the tracking option to None. Then, do an adjustment to put whatever stock you have back into inventory.

    Thanks for the answer............

The inventory (stock ) is "0" , These items have  been purchased  1st time. Now when we  try to make receiving the problem starts,  and also not possible to delete from the P.O.

As due to Sales , We issue some invoices of  these items also. Now , how to slove this ?
