On Premise Server License Cost

Hello,

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the approximate cost for an on premise CRM 2015 server license? There is so much information for CRM Online pricing, but not very much for an on premise set up for the server and user CALs. Thanks in advance for any help!

    There are two versions on on-premise :

    Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server 2015 . There is no user limit for this edition. Additional features include support for multiple organizations, multiple server instances, and separate role-based service installation. Role-based services let you increase performance by installing Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server features on different computers.

    Microsoft Dynamics CRM Workgroup Server 2015 . This edition is limited to five, or fewer, users. This version is limited to a single organization and a single computer that is running Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server.

    Is it possible to install on-premises on desktop and use it as CRM?

    CRM can be only installed in Server machine, or you could setup a vpc for you, please refer below for software requirements:

    If just looking for the demo/testing you could setup a cloud trial for 30 days free of cost.
