Hello,

this case is in d365 CE cloud

is it possible to send delayed e-mails from a campaign there?

1. I created a campaign

2. added a marketing list

3. created campaign activity

4. set channel to email

5. clicked distribute campaign activity- >wizard opened

I set due to 30 minutes in the future and clicked distribute

assigned the activities to me.

But the emails were sent instantly after I clicked distribute...

Is it even possible to send delayed emails in the standard d365 CE or do I need Marketing?

RE: Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE delayed campaign activity email

    Hello Lu Hao,

thanks for the help. This is a good information but it doesnt fits my case because

    1. I need to send it delayed to a selection of contacts

    2. With a templates

And when I click distribute campaign activity it doesnt shows the engagement option send later. It only  works when I try to send a new "single" email and change the formular to the new engagement Email formular.

Does this mean it doesnt work with campaign activities or do I something wrong?

Is there any way to distribute emails with themplates which hold variables to a selected group of contacts delayed?

RE: Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE delayed campaign activity email

    Hi McDauly,

We can use email engagement to set the delivery time for your message, and the email will be sent at the scheduled time.

This is the document that introduces email engagement: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/ai/sales/email-engagement

We will enable email engagement in Sales Hub.

    1. Sign in to Dynamics 365 Sales, and go to the Sales Hub app.

    2. Go to Change area in the lower-left corner of the page, and select Sales Insights settings.

    3. In the Email engagement (standard) section, select Grant Permissions.

A confirmation message is displayed in a tab. Close the tab and proceed to set up email engagement.

    4. In the Email engagement section, select Set up and then turn on the toggle.
