SQL Stored Procedure To Run Dynamics Utility Nightly

Hello,

We would like to be able to have a Utility run from a stored procedure on a nightly basis after the database backups.  Does anyone have anything like this working for them?  If so, it would be great to have your example to work from.  It can be a generic case.

Background: This is specifically for a Utility from a Dynamics Partner, WennSoft, in their Job Cost Module. (They are not as much help, hence the request here).  Sometimes there is a discrepancy in the "Job Status" window between the summary data and the detail in the drill down. We've been told to routinely use the Utilities "Reconcile Jobs" and "Recreate Summary File", in that order. Before doing this you must backup the databases. It would be nice to have all this happen nightly, after the nightly backups, via a stored procedure or something.

Best,

JPR3

You consider the Macro Method as described in following blog.

Max has cleared the way, it has always been done using a Macro.

A similar case can be found as well on macro that will include a line for logging out

Thank you both.  In searching for GP Macro information I did find a guide: http://www.turnkeytec.com/solutions/gp/gp-editions/step-by-steps/how-to-create-and-run-macros-to-perform-tasks-in-gp-2/
