Read-only form of custom entity is editable in unified interface

Hi folks,

I have created a custom entity and set the state of the entity after some actions. Now, the entity is read-only in classic UI but when I check the entity on Unified interface, I could edit the fields of that entity.

Any ideas to check are appreciated!

Got a similar problem, my custom entity is editable in Web UI and read-only in new UI by default. Will post if I figure it out

    Hi Laco,

I have exactly the same issue: a draft record in regular interface is OK in the new Unified Interface it is read only. Dit you get this fixed?

    Kind regards,

    Alexander

    Hello community,

I found a solution for this. What you have to do is go to Settings / Customizations / Customize the system then inside the solution expand Entities and search for the entity that is read-only. Now in the entity metadata search for "Read-only in mobile". If you have that checked, un-check it. After doing that save and publish. That should fix it, it worked for me.

I think this could be a Microsoft bug, but at least it is fixed with this change (if you don't mind enabling the mobile edition).

Please let me know if it works for you too.

    Best,

    Ale

    Hi Alejandro.

On the online environment that box was checked and grayed out (Entity Entitlement). I had to burn a MS Ticket to get this fixed with a mitigation script on the database. Cause Unknown.

The script fixed the issue however.

    Kind regards,

    Alexander
