How can you set it up so that when a record is deleted in the source company, it is also deleted in the target company? Currently, the record remains in the target company when I delete it in the source company.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello PJ-07051320-0,

In Business Central, when using Master Data Management (MDM), deletion of a record in the source company does not automatically delete it in the target company, as standard MDM sync only supports create and update operations - not deletes.

To handle deletions, you need to implement a custom solution using events, Power Automate, or custom AL code that listens for deletion events in the source company and triggers deletion in the target. This ensures data stays in sync across companies, including when records are removed.

Hope this answer will help you!

    Regards,
    Mansi Soni

    Hello,

Master Data Management scope is only for creation and update. Deleting data is not possible in the standard functionality.

I would recommend to perform a development to satisfy the requirement, via AL or power automate.

    I hope I can help.

    Regards,

    Andrés

In Business Central, the standard Master Data Management (MDM) functionality only supports syncing of record creation and updates — it does not handle deletions by default. So, when you delete a record in the source company, it remains in the target company.

To keep records fully in sync, including deletions, you'll need to implement a custom solution. This can be done using AL event subscribers, Power Automate, or another integration layer that listens for deletion events in the source company and removes the corresponding record in the target company.

Hi, Or you can submit this idea to Microsoft.
Maybe this feature will be added in later versions.
