Barcode scanner in NAV 2009 classic

Hello everyone,

I would like to add a barcode scanner to Navision 2009 to manage my inventory. This means that when I scan an EAN with the barcode scanner, the inventory count is automatically updated by +1. Is this possible? Additionally, is it also possible to connect your mobile device to Navision so that you can use a mobile device as well?

Hi, if you just need to print the barcode, it's not very difficult.

But if you want to scan, this requires integrating external solutions. But NAV 2009 has ended support for 4 years, and I think there are almost no partners supporting NAV 2009.

I don't think it is possible to integrate scanner to Nav 2009 is possible. Consider upgrade your Nav to BC, there is tons of vars offering such applications
