my customer is able to run several reports, but when trying to run a higher level report she is now getting an error around needing to reset her password. She is setup as an Executive user class. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same question (0)Resetting her password would have nothing to do with running the global report. If you have the user setup to "Enforce Password Policy" and passwords are expiring based on your Active Directory Settings (ours are every 42 days). When the time has expired, exactly 42 days later at whatever time that they previously changed their pw, they need to go in and change their pw. So, basically she may have been able to run the two lower level reports but then her pw expired. Did you try having her change her pw?
